We are looking for Line Leaders!

At our Production site based in Isleham, Cambridgeshire we are looking for a diligent, self-motivated team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading conventional roots supplier in the UK.

You will join us on a fulltime permanent contract.

The shift pattern will be Panama, two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, two days on, three days off, equating to 80.5 hours per fortnight.

The job role

Reporting directly to the shift supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that we meet quality standards and complete all customers orders on time.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Consistently strive to maximise throughput/reduce wastage.
  • Be fully competent in all production lines across the site and deliver consistent performance in line with KPI’s.
  • Improving quality performance.
  • Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement programmes.
  • Improving the engagement level of employees.
  • To be an ambassador for Burgess Farms.
  • Responsible for managing the staff allocated to your line.
  • Support the site to be audit ready at all times.

 

What we’re looking for in your skill set

  • Previous experience as a machine or technical operator
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • A real team player with a positive attitude to implement change
