We are looking for a Site MHE Trainer!

At our Production site based in Isleham, Cambridgeshire we are looking for a diligent, self-motivated team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading conventional roots supplier in the UK.

You will join us on a fulltime permanent contract.

The shift pattern will be Monday-Friday, equating to 40 hours per week.

The job role

Reporting directly to the Planning and Logistics Manager you will play a key role in ensuring MHE drivers are adequately trained to ensure we promote a safety conscious environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide on-site MHE training, ensure that drivers are trained to adequate standards and that drivers are always adhering to these standards.
  • Provide job-specific training to new drivers.
  • Conduct job related assessments of newly recruited drivers.
  • Toyota assistant account coordinator – report breakdowns and track progress of repairs.
  • Raise purchase orders and track spending, analyse costs and update KPIs, keep notice boards regularly updated with driver’s performance / spending.
  • Maintain the Toyota I-site website, create driver logins, maintain the MHE start-up check sheets on the portal and within Navision. Regularly audit the start-up checks and ensure they’re completed in time.
  • Keep the company MHE handbook updated and brief drivers on the relevant changes.
  • Manage MHE training records and certifications, ensure training matrix is updated and any future needs/refreshers are planned with department managers.

What we’re looking for in your skill set

  • A minimum of 2 years Forklift driving experience
  • Preferably ITSSAR or RTITB accredited
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • A real team player with a positive attitude to implement change
