We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join our team.

You would be joining the team in an exciting period, ensuring that the people first approach is delivered in all that we do. We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join our supportive, friendly team based at Isleham. You will be joining us on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Managing Director you would will actively partner respective business areas closely ensuring all operational HR projects, employee relations and coaching is delivered in line with the people and business strategy.

Responsibility

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with people managers across the Company, ensuring that any issues are managed fairly, consistently and adhere to legislation and Company process, policy and procedure, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and non-attendance concerns
  • Support people managers with complex grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings, as required, and act as a point of escalation for the site Junior HR Advisor
  • Take a heavy focus on employee experience and heavily participate and occasionally lead site activities such as wellbeing events, employee communication forums, staff events, engagement strategies
  • Project lead and facilitate business change programmes and restructures and support consultation meetings as required
  • Lead and coordinate audits such as SMETA ethical audits, customer compliance and temporary labour providers
  • Develop, mentor and support Junior HR Advisor to ensure personal growth and success
  • Induct newly appointed People Managers to the Company, ensuring that they are provided with relevant information and that a full induction programme has been arranged

What we are looking for

  • A strong background in a HR Business Partnering or similar
  • Experience of working in partnership with people managers and of dealing, to satisfactory completion, complex employee relation issues
  • Firm understanding of commercial aspects of HRBP role and provides solution based advice
  • An individual who is self-motivated, can handle pressure and varying demands
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Confident personality with the ability to challenge, persuade and influence
  • Ideally, you will hold a CIPD qualification, at level 5 however we would open to candidates who have suitable experience without a CIPD qualification
