We are looking for a Night Hygiene Operative on our night shift!

At our Production site based in Isleham, Cambridgeshire we are looking for a diligent, self-motivated team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading conventional roots supplier in the UK.

You will join us on a fulltime permanent contract.

Our night shift operates on a 40 hour working week arrangement which operates Tuesday to Saturday. The shift times are 21:00-05:30.

The job role

We are looking for a Night Hygiene Operative to deep clean equipment, and all areas of the factory according to the documented schedules on a daily basis, ensuring procedures are adhered to at all times. The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Stripping down and deep cleaning equipment, walls ceilings and floor within all areas of the factory according to the documented schedules on a daily basis
  • Use and help develop the cleaning schedules to determine the frequency of cleaning required for each piece of equipment, all kit must be cleaned using the cleaning schedule
  • Use forklift truck and cherry picker for cleaning at height using the safety procedure
  • Use cleaning chemicals as necessary and as directed under COSHH procedures
  • Complete any additional hygiene work or projects related to hygiene for customer visits
  • Adhere to the lock off procedure
  • To undertake any other duties requested by management

What we will be looking for in your skills set

  • Previous experience of working in a production/warehousing environment
  • Good communication skills
