Welcome to Burgess Farms, we’ve been farming in the Peterborough Fens since 1898 when Harry and Percy Burgess first started growing vegetables for our London market.
Fast forward to today and we are still a growing family business, passionate about our own farming and collaborating with other expert farmers to supply our customers, with the finest quality potatoes and root vegetables which we pack ourselves.
Our expertise is doing the difficult well, we love what we do and that gives us the edge in growing high quality speciality and organic vegetables which is why we have long standing partnerships with our customers in retail, wholesale and processing.

At Burgess Farms, everybody is part of the family as we aim to put our customers first and grow together. We supply potatoes from Sutton Bridge, conventional roots from Isleham, and organic roots from Yaxley.
Speciality potatoes is an expertise of ours, we collaborate with the best farmers to grow both premium heritage varieties, much loved by consumers, but notoriously hard to grow, plus new innovative varieties that offer the consumer something special.
For our carrots and parsnips, we work in a true joint venture with our partners Tompsett Growers Ltd. Together we strive to grow and pack top quality vegetables, safely and ethically, employing the very best technology throughout our supply chain to deliver a competitive offer.
RBOrganic is our organic farming division. We’re passionate about the benefit our organic farming methods have for our soil, wildlife, environment and for the naturally tasty organic vegetables we grow.
We wanted to do good, so in 1997 we converted land into organic farming and in 2005, we were ready to start supplying customers in retail and wholesale.
Today, we are the UK’s leading grower of organic root vegetables, something we are hugely proud of as we continue to innovate in the field to grow organic root vegetables for everyone, and everywhere.
We believe our less intensive organic farming methods are what makes our carrots, parsnips and beetroot naturally tasty, so much, it inspired us to launch our own organic brand Natures Premium.
