Gender Pay Gap

Burgess Farms, (including its divisions Burgess Farm Produce and RBOrganic) is a grower, supplier and distributor of a range of conventional, organic and specialty fresh produce. This report provides details of our latest information relating to Gender Pay Gap and is based upon data as at 5th April 2023. At this point in time, the company had 432 relative employees, 223 of which were men and 209 were women.

The company gives full support and consideration to all of the stakeholders to promote the success of the company. There is a detailed forecasting and planning process in place throughout the company, which gives consideration to the longer-term success of the business, and looks at a 3-year planning cycle. High standards of quality are maintained across the business, and reviewed and inspected on a regular basis. The company has pride in the high standards achieved.

The directors are in support of the company’s ongoing environmental projects, and give consideration to the environmental impact of all aspects of operations, from growing crops through to the packing and distribution of goods. Ensuring all aspects of the business give due consideration to sustainability is a key focus.

The company recognises the importance of the employees, and supports the continuing development programmes in place across the business. The company believes in the importance of the relationships with both our customers and suppliers, and believes in developing long-term partnerships wherever possible.
