Line Leader

We are looking for Line Leaders!

At our Production site based in Isleham, Ely, we are looking for a dynamic team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading fresh produce supplier in the UK. We’re dedicated to using the very best of sustainable farming techniques in our own farming and collaborating with other expert farmers. We grow the finest quality potatoes, root vegetables which we pack ourselves to supply to our customers.

You will join us on a fulltime, permanent contract.

The shift pattern will be Panama, two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, two days on, three days off, equating to 80.5 hours per fortnight.

Responsibility

The Job Role

We are looking for an experienced Line Leader to join the Operations Department to play a key role in ensuring that quality standards are met, and customer orders are completed on time.

Continuous Improvement

Machinery

    Run machinery in line with company’s SOP’s and best practices

    Report issues with machinery to production management and/or engineers
  • Image
    Work in collaboration with the engineering team on troubleshooting issues

Leadership

  • Image
    Responsible for managing the staff allocated to your line
  • Image
    Manage agency staff working on your line & Support them if they are struggling
  • Image
    Manage your line team to ensure they are meeting all production targets
  • Image
    Ensure your team are following all company procedures and processes Monitor team’s performance and support them to overcome shortfalls

    Record and escalate issues with team to management

What we are looking for

  • Image
    Experience in a Line Leader role
  • Image
    NAV ERP system usage experience
  • Image
    Strong numeracy levels
  • Image
    Good understanding of English, spelling, and grammar
