Stock Controller

We are looking for a Stock Controller!

At our Production site based in Isleham, Cambridgeshire we are looking for a diligent, self-motivated team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading conventional roots supplier in the UK.

You will join us on a fulltime permanent contract.

You will be working the day shift on a Panama / 4 on 4 off (TBC) shift pattern, from 05:30 to 18:00.

Responsibility

The Job Role

We are looking for a Stock Controller to join the Planning and Logistics Department and provide an effective and professional service covering key responsibilities below:

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Image
    Issuing stocks to production – ensuring stock rotation and adherence to plans.
  • Image
    Ensure stock segregation is maintained between organic and conventional materials
  • Image
    Continuously work towards reducing waste, enforce FIFO.
  • Image
    Cleanliness and general organisation of the coldstore
  • Image
    Regular stocktakes ensuring all materials are accounted for
  • Image
    Quarantine of non-conforming products and management of the quarantine area, ensuring all stocks on hold are dealt with in a timely manner, reducing waste to minimum.
  • Image
    Receive finished goods into the storage in a timely manner
  • Image
    Adhere to all site rules and procedures inclusive of health and safety and food standard procedures
  • Image
    Attend all relevant stock meetings and any other meetings that the business deems necessary.
  • Image
    Support other areas and departments as and when necessary

What we are looking for

  • Image
    1 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Image
    Counterbalance licence (at least 2 years’ experience)
  • Image
    Ability to use hand held scanner
  • Image
    Basic use of computer software
  • Image
    Strong numeracy levels
  • Image
    Exemplary spelling, grammar and verbal communication
