Stock Controller
We are looking for a Stock Controller!
At our Production site based in Isleham, Cambridgeshire we are looking for a diligent, self-motivated team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading conventional roots supplier in the UK.
You will join us on a fulltime permanent contract.
You will be working the day shift on a Panama / 4 on 4 off (TBC) shift pattern, from 05:30 to 18:00.

The Job Role
We are looking for a Stock Controller to join the Planning and Logistics Department and provide an effective and professional service covering key responsibilities below:
The responsibilities of the role include:
Issuing stocks to production – ensuring stock rotation and adherence to plans.- Ensure stock segregation is maintained between organic and conventional materials
- Continuously work towards reducing waste, enforce FIFO.
- Cleanliness and general organisation of the coldstore
- Regular stocktakes ensuring all materials are accounted for
- Quarantine of non-conforming products and management of the quarantine area, ensuring all stocks on hold are dealt with in a timely manner, reducing waste to minimum.
- Receive finished goods into the storage in a timely manner
- Adhere to all site rules and procedures inclusive of health and safety and food standard procedures
- Attend all relevant stock meetings and any other meetings that the business deems necessary.
- Support other areas and departments as and when necessary
What we are looking for
- 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- Counterbalance licence (at least 2 years’ experience)
- Ability to use hand held scanner
- Basic use of computer software
- Strong numeracy levels
- Exemplary spelling, grammar and verbal communication
