Responsibility

The Job Role

Reporting directly to the Planning and Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that all materials required for packing are kept at the correct stock and budget levels.

The responsibilities of the role include:

    Ensure the right stock available at the right time.

    Understand demand and what’s driving the changes, create raw material plans and issue to suppliers and production teams, ensure all administrative tasks are completed to maintain a smooth booking in process.

    Maintain the raw materials plan, update stocks and any pack-out figures.

    Work alongside the procurement and farming teams to understand any harvesting or quality constraints that may affect factory performance/plans and effectively communicate those to the teams.

    Report discrepancies and lead investigations

    Report any consumption errors and lead investigations, support with root cause analysis and work towards proofing the system to reduce potential of reoccurrences.

    Ensure product quality and freshness

    Work alongside the technical team to ensure freshness and good quality of our products, proactively request concessions for any deviations from our residency time standards, investigate any unplanned deviations.

    Stock allocation

    Take initiative in the stock allocation process, work alongside the stock controllers to ensure the right stock is delivered to the lines at the right time.

    Management of imports

    Keep the imports tracker updated, work closely alongside our import agents to understand any changes to plans and effectively communicate these to the wider team.

    Support with any other additional tasks within supply chain and procurement

What we are looking for

  • Image
    A minimum of 2 years planning and packaging experience
  • Image
    Ease of making contacts with vendors and establishing good relationships
  • Image
    Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Image
    A real team player with a positive attitude to implement change.
