Responsibilities
The Job Role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Solutions Manager to play a key role in ensuring that quality standards are met, and customer orders are completed on time.
The responsibilities of the role include:
Lead, coach, and develop the technical, compliance, and quality teams.- Deliver the site Technical Strategy.
- Drive and deliver the Food Safety and Quality Plan throughout site working collaboratively with all to engage and influence the agenda.
- Ensure the site meets our internal, customer and industry technical and quality standards (BRC, Soil Association, Red Tractor, etc).
- Owner of the Roots HACCP plan.
- Deliver the site and customer KPI suites.
- Lead customer Technical visits showcasing our standards, quality, initiatives and innovations
- Control of Labour Budget
- Artwork Sign off – Legal requirements
What we are looking for?
- 5 years Fresh Produce experience in a Technical role.
- Proven leader with the ability to coach and empower getting the best from a team.
- Ability to influence and engage others.
- Solutions based, inclusive approach to continual improvement.
- HACCP level 3 minimum.
- Lead Auditor trained.
- Data analytical skills to influence others internally and externally.
Desiarable traits
- Educated to degree level with a specialism in Food Sciences, Food Technology, or Microbiology.
