Responsibilities

The Job Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Solutions Manager to play a key role in ensuring that quality standards are met, and customer orders are completed on time.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Image
    Lead, coach, and develop the technical, compliance, and quality teams.
  • Image
    Deliver the site Technical Strategy.
  • Image
    Drive and deliver the Food Safety and Quality Plan throughout site working collaboratively with all to engage and influence the agenda.
  • Image
    Ensure the site meets our internal, customer and industry technical and quality standards (BRC, Soil Association, Red Tractor, etc).
  • Image
    Owner of the Roots HACCP plan.
  • Image
    Deliver the site and customer KPI suites.
  • Image
    Lead customer Technical visits showcasing our standards, quality, initiatives and innovations
  • Image
    Control of Labour Budget
  • Image
    Artwork Sign off – Legal requirements

What we are looking for?

  • Image
    5 years Fresh Produce experience in a Technical role.
  • Image
    Proven leader with the ability to coach and empower getting the best from a team.
  • Image
    Ability to influence and engage others.
  • Image
    Solutions based, inclusive approach to continual improvement.
  • Image
    HACCP level 3 minimum.
  • Image
    Lead Auditor trained.
  • Image
    Data analytical skills to influence others internally and externally.

Desiarable traits

  • Image
    Educated to degree level with a specialism in Food Sciences, Food Technology, or Microbiology.
